The Maxwell and Gunter Community Centers are the focal point for base events and activities.
The Maxwell Community Center offers a large ballroom suitable for retirements, commander’s calls, and unit gatherings. The center has two pool tables, a large screen television and table and chairs for card games. The Maxwell Center also maintains Hopper's Lodge and the base lakes and pavilions.
The Gunter Community Center features a meeting room, a game room and a television lounge. It can be reserved for official functions, club meetings, birthday parties, wedding receptions, baby showers, etc. Reservations can be made for cookouts at the Fisk Park pavilion.
